I took AP US Government and Politics today. It was going really well... But then, as I was sealing my test booklet, I realized that it was a 60 question exam and I'd only answered *50* questions. I think I did well on the essays, but *ugh*. I'm not looking forward to seeing that score.

Origami
Sorry I haven't posted much (or at all) in the past few months. Turns out untreated depression makes it really hard to get stuff (like blog posts) done. I'm on some nice medications now, and I'm a whole lot better than I was even a month ago.
One of the things I've started doing again now that I have spoons is origami. Here are some of the things I've made in driver's ed( I'll post more about that hellish class later.).
Duck, by John Montroll.
Radiant four pointed star by John Montroll.
A hummingbird. Not sure who designed it.
Mini radiant four pointed star.
Ohio star by John Montroll.
Layered eight pointed star by John Montroll.
Tessellated octahedron, also by John Montroll. Guess whose book I have with me at class?
A very odd star cluster.

And done with Assassin's Creed II
Finished Assassin's Creed II yesterday. I was saving a bunch of the assassination contracts to finish after I was done with the storyline, but it honestly doesn't seem worth it. Besides, now I can play Brotherhood, when I can get computer time out of my own personal brother.

Assassin's Creed II saves.... or not.
I just had to replay the god awful flying mission in Assassin's Creed II 4-5 times. My brother (it's on his computer) spent about forty minutes fixing it. It may start saving now, but that's more hopeful than anything else. Arrrrrgggg.

Women in Secularism
I just got home from Women in Secularism( more precisely, I just woke up from the nap I had after I got home). Short story- it was awesome. I'll be posting more latter once my brain is all they way back to running.

I just finished reading The Handmaid's Tale by Margret Atwood. I can't exactly say I liked it, mostly because I don't "like" it in the sense that I "like" puppies. But it was very good. I found myself going over whatever part I had just finished while I was doing other things(read- laundry). Some part of me wishes that the main character was a little braver, but that's mostly from reading way too much Teen Fic. and getting fed up with how passive to characters are. That fact that she didn't do something Big, with a capitol B, to fight Gilead made her much more human, as did the fact that she just kept on living in small ways, when there wasn't much at all in return.
Overall impression: I'm glad Gilead is a fictional place.

Things I find annoying: Part 2
Signs with spelling errors. Spelling shop "shoppe". Town as "towne". Why, people, why!?!
